We are excited to announce that, after last year of development, we have achieved the start of production of our first Ren4Water Box mini-series. This is a key milestone that will allow us to field test and refine our innovative solution designed to tackle the global water crisis and ensure access to safe water in vulnerable contexts, where water resources are scarce or compromised by groundwater contamination and pollution.
The realization of this mini-series production represents a crucial step in our project: it will allow us to test the machine in the field and collect vital data to improve its efficiency and adaptability across different environmental contexts. In a world where over 2 billion people lack access to safe water, and among these, around 800 million don’t even have access to basic improved water services (i.e. water from improved sources such as a tap or a fountain with less than 30 minutes of total collection time), our goal is to bring this technology where it is most needed, truly improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable communities.
We have chosen the Republic of San Marino as the venue for the first presentation event of the Ren4Water Box, in collaboration with Carità senza Confini Onlus, which operates with decades of experience in various context of solidarity and development in Sub-Saharan Africa. April 23 will be a unique opportunity to present the Ren4Water project and the first version of our Water Box to various associations and local realities involved in Cooperation and Development activities in Africa.
During the meeting, we will review the status of the project, explore the potential of the Ren4Water Box, and above all, share ideas and solutions to address the water crisis in the field. The program includes an overview of our project, followed by a practical demonstration in which participants will see the machine in action and discover how it can be used in real-life situations to ensure access to safe water and prevent recontamination - especially in the last mile of transporting water home where there is no water system.
This event marks an important step not only for the dissemination of the Ren4Water Box, but also for strengthening our network of collaborations with organizations operating directly in Sub-Saharan Africa, who share the same mission as we do: improve people's lives, through innovative technologies and renewable sources, bringing safe water directly into the homes of millions who still do not have access to it. We do believe that only by joining forces with those working in the field on a daily basis can we achieve real and lasting change.
