EPFL Innovation Park and La Forge, Lausanne

The REN4WATER project was born at the EPFL Innovation Park. We greatly benefited from its ecosystem, through access to EPFL faculty, personalized coaching, investor networking and countless learning opportunities for starting entrepreneurs. At the heart of the EPFL Innovation Park, La Forge is a co-working space offering a unique environment to shape ideas into companies. We were hosted at La Forge between 2014 and 2015.

Johns Hopkins, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Washington DC

SAIS Social Enterprise Accelerator and Investment Fund (SAF) supported REN4WATER Impact with a student project in 2015 to analyze the global water issue, identify target markets, and provide recommendations for a sustainable market access strategy in developing countries.

seif supports and promotes entrepreneurial initiatives seeking to apply innovative business ideas to respond to current social and environmental problems. REN4WATER Impact benefited from a startup training program for social enterprises and personalized coaching in 2015.

Engera APC is a non-for-profit association founded and constituted by doctors, nurses and volunteers engaged in the Ethiopic healthcare. Engera and REN4WATER Impact have decided to bring our solution to rural clinics and villages of Ethiopia where Engera operates.

Givewatts distributes renewable energy solutions to school children and families without access to electricity. We look at opportunities to test the REN4WATER solution across the distribution coverage Givewatts has established in Kenya and Eastern Africa.

Amani has been working for 20 years with street children in the suburbs of large cities of Eastern Africa providing them with a shelter, a community and opportunities for education.
