SIG manages the supply of water, gas, electricity and thermic energy to 250 000 clients residing in the Canton of Geneva. Active in promoting renewable energy production and development, SIG awarded REN4WATER Impact with the Prize “SIG NER Fund” in July 2016.

The REN4WATER project was born at the EPFL Innovation Park. We greatly benefited from its ecosystem, through access to EPFL faculty, personalized coaching, investor networking and countless learning opportunities for starting entrepreneurs. At the heart of the EPFL Innovation Park, La Forge is a co-working space offering a unique environment to shape ideas into companies. We were hosted at La Forge between 2014 and 2015.

SAIS Social Enterprise Accelerator and Investment Fund (SAF) supported REN4WATER Impact with a student project in 2015 to analyze the global water issue, identify target markets, and provide recommendations for a sustainable market access strategy in developing countries.

seif supports and promotes entrepreneurial initiatives seeking to apply innovative business ideas to respond to current social and environmental problems. REN4WATER Impact benefited from a startup training program for social enterprises and personalized coaching in 2015.

As the largest patent consulting firm in Switzerland serving start-ups to large corporations, P&TS supported us in our Intellectual Property strategy since the beginning. In 2015 the P&TS Fund for Ethical Innovation awarded REN4WATER Impact a grant in the form of intellectual property services.

CPV Partners is a innovative, boutique, business law firm, purpose-built for efficient execution. Specialized in entrepreneurship law, CPV Partners supported us in setting up REN4WATER Impact as a legal entity.

Engera APC is a non-for-profit association founded and constituted by doctors, nurses and volunteers engaged in the Ethiopic healthcare. Engera and REN4WATER Impact have decided to bring our solution to rural clinics and villages of Ethiopia where Engera operates.

Givewatts distributes renewable energy solutions to school children and families without access to electricity. We look at opportunities to test the REN4WATER solution across the distribution coverage Givewatts has established in Kenya and Eastern Africa.

Amani has been working for 20 years with street children in the suburbs of large cities of Eastern Africa providing them with a shelter, a community and opportunities for education. Amani and REN4WATER Impact are planning to test our solution in the suburbs and community houses where Amani operates.

For more than 25 years, CEAS has worked for sustainable development to improve living conditions of disadvantaged communities in Africa. CEAS has encouraged and supported us to develop the REN4WATER solution to address safe water challenges in the developing countries they serve.
