From July 10th to July 12th , the West Africa Water Expo will take place in Lagos, Nigeria. It is an extremely important event for the Water sector in West Africa.
Over 70 exhibitors are announced to present products, technology developments and management experience in the field of water treatment, recycling, storage and water control systems to prevent flooding. Even for Nigeria, the largest country in Africa with its 182 million inhabitants, it is clear that oil cannot be the only factor of wealth and development: a country that wants to increase its economic development and improve its standards of well-being needs to invest even more in the primary good that guarantees health to the population, namely Water.
Water is recognized as the key topic for the Sustainable Development of Africa. The issue of water has now reached international and local attention, and interest from governments, civil society, businesses and start-ups as it never happened in the past. The time is now and REN4WATER wants to contribute to this change, through its innovative solution of water purification at household scale, easy to distribute, install and use in every home, using only renewable energy.
